HOW SHE GOT SO MEAN
How She Got So Mean is the coming-of-age journey of a 65-year-old Texas woman, Sam, who sets out alone in a converted church "Joy Bus" to take the road trip her recently deceased husband long-planned for the two of them. Triggered by a volatile relationship with her family and her faith, Sam’s impromptu pilgrimage leads her to the Alamo and face-to-face with Jesús, a Mexican American parking lot attendant and Santa Anna enthusiast from Staten Island.
This story is a kind of love letter to my mother. It’s the ending I wish she had.

ENDLESS LOOP OF GRATITUDE
Created by Broken Chord, Steph Ferreira, Jackson Gay, Steven Padla, Riw Rakkulchon, and Ashley M. Thomas.
Endless Loop of Gratitude is an interactive installation that invites participants up to the microphone to reflect on the people, places, and events that have impacted their own lives.
We are currently expanding the installation and are seeking theater lobbies, empty store fronts, festivals, street corners, corporate events, and residencies.
Endless Loop was recently seen in NYC at New Ohio Theatre’s Ice Factory.
